Pretty darn good. Very interesting story -- based on a real unsolved London bank heist, with a plausible if fictionalized backstory.

Nothing at all cinematic about this filmed play, and Hall's performance is too mannered, but the script is so innovative and original that I happily watched it for 90 mins then discussed it for another 90 with the wife.
BTW, if you were to try to come up with the most-un-Altman film imagineable, this would be it. I can't think of any other great director who strayed so far from his bread-and-butter for even a single movie.

Greatest film noir of all time. Only Thieves' Highway and Kiss Me Deadly come close. Poor Joseph Lewis- if he had directed Citizen Kane, it could have lived up to its reputation as the greatest film of all time. But Joseph Lewis ended his career directing episodes of The Rifleman.

I would rate this 3/5...hgad som every hilarious moments....but, they could of done more with the good cast they had. Good renatal movie. Kate is always nice to look at.

Sorry....Dane Cook. Can't watch it on principle.

From Rotten Tomatoes....
Consensus: The impressive cast cannot rescue Rendition, which explores complex issues in woefully simplified terms.
Couldn't agree more.

Well? :)
The more I think about it the more I like it. Ed Harris seems to have more than a touch of Dick Cheney in him. Viggo Mortensen is absolutely terrific as his partner, a participant but also an observer. Renee Zellweger, whom I can't stand, is actually good in this. Jeremy Irons and Lance Henriksen are excellent. It's slow and doesn't overdo the violence, which is quick and not graphic.
A lot better than most recent westerns. I recommend you see it.

It's no masterpiece but I really preferred this to the overblown The Departed. Aside from the terrible Chinese pop songs (those come with the territory), this is a terrifically nuanced and suspenseful picture. The acting is also top notch.

I enjoyed this a lot. I was drifting in and out a little cause I had to do the laundry and stat homework at the same time. But I got to see most of the movie and I would probably watch it again.

Beautiful, hilarious and touching film about the artistic process. I got the impression that Anderson was apologizing for being such a douchenozzle.
I loved it. LOVED.

A revisit, having seen it in the theater when it was new. Even better than I remembered.

I hoped he'd be apologizing for Royal Tenenbaums.
