roll it off the back of your head....catch it on your foot...do a rotation around the ball...catch it....then toss it back on your neck....

I knew a guy in highschool who could take off his shirt while the ball was stalled on his neck.
It's a useless trick, but it's still cool.

Can you actually do that NC ODP02? I want to be able to do the foot around the ball trick but it is so hard i can't even think of a way to practice it really...other than just try to do it over and over but when you can't ever do it that seems pretty useless. I shall try to take off the shirt when it is stalled that would be funny.
How do you do the hell over your head do you look at your foot, or do you just sort of feel where the ball will be and hit it blindly. I can sort of sometimes hit it blindly but it is not close to perfected.

Hey, I almost learned the foot around the ball move. :)
I can start from a stall and then get my foot around the ball and hit it up again. All i have to learn to do is stall it right after that, I guess I just have to throw it up a bit higher to allow me to have some room to complete the stall I think. Any tips?
I thought of a trick to do from the neck stall...
What you do it roll it on to the back your head, flick it straight up then get your head out of the way, kind of going around the ball then just stalling it on your foot.
I think I will start practicing this tomorrow, can any of you guys do it?
Another trick (basically the same) start from a juggle hit the ball up to head height, do a rotation with your head and then catch it back on your foot.
I guess this would be considered the real trick, and the other one is just a half way easier version.

drop to the ground and do a handful of pushups, then as returning to a standing position, let the ball roll forward over your head before flicking it up in the air, and then catching it on your foot.

lol....NOTHING is hard once you learn how to do it.
Okay NC, you have to tell me the trick to the trick.
I can easily stall the ball and i can easily go around the ball before it touches the ground, the only thing that i can't do is stall the ball right after going around.
I can go around and kick the ball if i want to, but how do you stall it after? do you bend your supporting leg a bit or do you just come down at a perfect angle?

ok, you know how you catch a ball and "cushion" it when settling a ball? Well, you have to be able to get your foot around fast enough to cushion the ball except instead of letting the ball hit the ground you stop your foot slowly...it takes a while...took me about an hour of trying....

Okay NC i am going to go out for an hour tomorrow and get it hopefully. Now that i have practised with a hacky sack i can actually go around really quickly for some reason.
Can you do it both ways ouside to inside and inside to outside?
i think going from outside to inside is easier but i can almost do it both ways so tomorrow i will practice tomorrow and hopefully learn both.
i think it is hard to stop your around motion at just the right time.
Also i am trying to learn to go all the way around and then stall it on my opposite foot. I think this is actually easier for me but is more unique so therefore i like it better.
Okay as i was typing this message i got up to turn off a light and i saw my soccer ball and tried it. I missed it twice. Then, I thought of what you said and tried to make my circling of the ball a little bit tighter. I hit it three times in a row :) learning new tricks is so awesome.
Thanks for the help NC ODP :)

There was a guy who set a record for juggling a ball, he could:
* take off and put on his shirt
* eat a bowl of cereal
* put on and take off his shoes while juggling with his head
==> This was very impressive.l

OKAY, now i have performed the trick once or twice while juggling, but i want consistency. Do any of you have a special way of practicing to get your consistency on juggling tricks up (or on anything for that matter) or do you just repeatedly try to do the trick over and over until eventually you get it???
I really want to get consistent with my tricks so please please reply and help me please.

There are 3 tricks to getting the ball to stall on the neck.
1) Set the ball in front of you from your foot, not directly at your neck. (that's the most important thing i think)
2)At first put your arms up and to the side like you have wings to get your shoulder blades up to make a little cup at your neck.
3)bend your knees just as it hits your neck.
With the going around, it looks a million times cooler when you do it from straight juggling so i will still learn that. I did it like 5 times now.
