The general consensus is that he's exceeded the low expectations that folks had (mainly, anybody who had ever seen him play in England).

Bothroyd scored a really great goal for Perugia yesterday and was rated quite well by at least this guy (but really ... " he has the potential to become one of the most devastating strikers in Italy" ... ?!?!?).
