My team, Georgia Thugs is in second place with 4 of them still to play their match and the team in front of me has all their players playing their match except for 2 so I am hoping I can take the lead soon :-) For me, Lee Bowyer and Brad Friedel were point earners. ManU players were BIG disappointments oh well.

Oh sweet mother of god.
The mighty Dinamo Onimbykfelov are up to second on the strength of sundays results.
Plus got 1 playing tonight perhaps (don't know if he's starting).
The unfortunate thing is that it's only the first weekend of the season - things can only get worse.

My Needham SC at #1?
That just can't be right.
I'll be happily suprised if I stay in the top 20 next week.

Me on the other hand had an Ouch! of a drop. From 4th to 37th. Owen screwed me yesterday, getting a measely 17 points. Missing a PK..uggh
What we need is a site or page with injury reports so we dont end up having players that arent in the matches.

I'll vote for that, but...
I guess that's where those that are willing to do the research are going to come off better. Not that that includes me of course.
That's why I came a cropper with Ljungberg in one of my teams.
Is anyone actually thinking of buying any more transfers? Or maybe you already have.
I'm too tight, eventhough one of my teams need a real overhaul.

True, I suppose that's logical, but I'm a bit busy to check numerous team sites every day to catch up on injuries and such.
A far as transfers go, I think I am assuming correctly that by not using a transfer during the week, it would carry over to the next week no? So as for now I don't plan on using any nor buying many in the future
As there are a million teams in our "division" and some of us have multiple teams, I'm curious as to how many of us actually are playing. From what I see there is:

I can't imagine that between the 9 of us we made up 273 teams...

Guys:
My name is Erik Barmack, and I'm the general manager of TSN's fantasy games division. Just so you know, I'm a huge calcio/football fan, and I'm on these boards often. We think we've put out a unique product for the Premiership, but I'm always looking to make it better. If you have comments, please send them my way: ebarmack@sportingnews.com.

p.s. And yes, transfers DO carry over.

Doesn't necessarily mean anything.
Just keeps the thread high on the list and stops it slipping out of sight and off into dim distant BS servers.
I think.

Really dis-chuffed.
Elliot didn't play tonight for Newcastle. Missed out on a golden opportnity to go top.
I fear that may have been my only chance. :(
The top top players have got about 1000 points.
They change the team each day. It's going to end up costing them a load.
Still it doesn't look like (m)any in the BS division are being this ruthless - which I think is a better situation.
New Longton Rovers update: currently languishing in 243rd position.
But Lua Lua's double plus additions from James will, I'm positive will send them skyrocketing up the table!

Yeah, but most of the people on top now picked up a team entirely made of Leeds or another team. After a few weeks they will go down unless they put tons of real money into it. That I can't understand...
Top 3
1 Needham SC
2 Dinamo Onmibykfelov
3 Egypt Pharaohs

The game and our division was posted in many forums so there's far more than this.
I got a few friends of mine myself to play who are into the EPL but aren't members of BigSoccer.

I think we may have stumbled onto the reason why they are the top 100 managers. ;)

It would seem i had the uncanny ability to pick all the players that lost out in 50/50 selection battles for spots.
Many transfers required to make this work now.
Serves me righ for loading up on firepower and picking cheapies for the rest i guess.

Actually, Reyna is listed #21 at Mid and Friedel is #5 at keeper. Ahead of Seaman whom almost everyone had.
