If only C.C. could score the occasional goal he would be great.

Curbishley got it all wrong... Faubert at full back with Behrami in front of him is special.

I'll take this what a good game. Well played team.
Poor old Boa, looks all wrong running at goal no confidence. Takes all day.

I knew Di Michele would come good for us.
I never thought I would ever say this but Cole actually looks like a good player recently.
Poor Boa. He just can't do a thing right. I still believe in him though. His attempts on goal are getting closer and closer and if anyone can bring out his flair side you would expect it to be Zola. If not then, regrettably IMO, he will need to go.

Hey guys.
Great result, though you'd be hard pressed to tell from Soccernet's coverage. Maybe the full time report will be better.

Yeah, it's gone quickly from "get him off my pitch!" to "my goodness, that poor bastard can't do anything right." I'm not sure you can tell, but there is some sympathy in that second thought.
lovely match though, none the less.

Great day, it was almost like the old West Ham was back. How we all laughed when poor old Boa missed at the end. The third goal was show pony's scuffed shot on goal. Bit of a curates egg that one INO, some great skill ie 2nd goal in between a lot of falling over and miss hits. Bellamy will be on fire with this style of play. Zola got a good reception as did Clarke, we have done well to get him in. Zola needs to have someone with his experience alongside. The numbers on the front looked pikey, at least Neill didn't have to turn round to show the rf his number when booked. I didn't think I'd every hear myself saying this but Neill has a very good game at CB. Owens goal was class so I wont blame the defence and it would have impressed Capello who obviously likes UP as he's been here a couple of times already this season. Newcastle are in a shambles, feel sorry for Hughton, not much he can do with the circus going on all around him. They need to get a new manager in asap

By the way, who the heck was supposed to make that back post run on all those set pieces and crosses. Must have been 8 that drifted harmlessly out of play.

Too late. Man City and Villa have both won and we are back down to a pitiful 6th place again!!

Behrami and Faubert were both on the right. I am not sure which way round. As Zola will be looking for more flair and attacking football I expect we will see more of Faubert at RB and Behrami at RW.
