This should be a good one. I've always had a soft spot for Les Verts except when they play PSG.

Yes , Saint Etienne are a magical club , it's really good to see them back in Europe and hopefully they can have a good season . I'd definately prefer them to win the league other than us .
It'll be a difficult match as always , they'll have alot of confidence after their european win . I believe if we win here it'll be a statement that we are real challengers this season .

I think a draw will be a good result for us on the road.
The good thing is that we rested our main players, while Sainte' really played it's best team in Israel
The best scenario however would be us winning, Monaco beating Marseille, and then Le Havre beating Lyon by at least 15 goals :D First place here we come! :D

Blaise Matuidi was awesome, and besides L1 having top keepers, the number of top defensive midfielders is very good too, with Toulalan, Makélélé (who Matuidi seriously outplayed today, I thought), Makoun, Mavuba, Alou Diarra, etc.
Before the match, I'd thought this would end a draw, though les Verts winning gets them out of the relegation zone, where they certainly don't belong.

Although I haven't seen the match, I think this result shows us we're not a top of the table team

I would not say that, actually, Chris. The offense did not show, that's all, and today they ran into a desperate Saint-Etienne team. Matuidi completely shadowed Sessègnon, Giuly look good initially, then tired, and I don't know about the others. Rothen was not involved much, and Hoarau did not take either of his opporunities, one at the start of the match, one at the end of the match.

Disappointed with the loss. At least it took wonderful skill to beat the defense. The forward unleashed a monster shot. At least it was an amazing shot that I wouldn't bet on any gk stopping.
More cutting edge in front of goal for PSG would have helped, but I think it's been established that it is something the team needs to work on.

But aren't missing chances, big players not getting involved and letting the other team want it more, the sort of things that top of the table teams don't do?

A good point. If it keeps on happening, then there's a problem, but I believe the team will do well. They are definitely top 4, I think.
