It is since yesterday. ;)
But a negative point is, that the away fans
sit very far away from the pitch. So the Werder fan
performance deserve eve more respect. :)

Nevertheless, they often manage to create a home game atmosphere...
My brother told me that your fans rocked the Arena (well, no wonder:-) ... the same happened when I was among the 10,000-12,000 Gladbach fans 2 years ago.

Btw., did you see the great flamboyant back heel passing in the second half yesterday?

Now that is the definition of "Hacke, Spitze, 123". :D If you ever wondered what my nickname stands for...

yup...I made a comment about that in the bayern thread as it happened. Bremen have amazing flair and the fact that you're unpredictable adds to that value on a day like this.

Post of the day...my sentiments exactly!
I think I'm developing a real personal dislike of the GOLTV product. It's not the games they show but the production. Firstly, the program guide shows the wrong teams and calls it a friendly (my computer has been down for a week) so I didn't know it was Bayern v Werder until the show began, and second; I watched the game in with English commentary...did that UK color-man say Frank Ribery's daughter needs to get slapped? Why not his fat ugly daughter then? Goofball
Ray Hudson has said worse than that. He's a complete clown. He said Ribery's daughter should be clapped because she was smiling when Werder scored a goal. The girl is like four years old and probably didn't have any idea what was happening.

She was clapping when he said that - and yeah, obviously her clapping was not football related, and even it was, what an aweful comment to make!
I'm sure he was realized his mistake right after he said it as he fumbled to recover before getting back to the game...

I got slapping and clapping all mixed up.:o Either way, Hudson is something I've never really thought existed before, a glory hunting announcer. He loves Real Madrid, Bayern, Barcelona. I mean literally oozes their praises, calls them brave and using Roman gladiators and Spartans, Trojans to talk about them. What a weird guy.

No worries I got what you meant - just clarifying for those that didn't see it. Ray Hudson also has a man-crush on Marko Marin! :D

I watched the game on "premiere". I could clearly hear Bremen`s fans chanting "Jüüühüüürgen Klinsmann" lol:D.
Indeed a very entertaining afternoon.

And the Bayern fans were chanting "Ottmar Hitzfeld, Ottmar Hitzfeld,
du bist der beste Mann." :D
btw:
The red head of Uli Honess was classic again.
I had fear, that it exploded. ;)

Hudson is a clown, no one should take him that seriously. He is there for entertainment value. I prefer him and his crazy commentary much more than any of his partners or people that work for that network.
BTW, if he was offered a chance to wash Messi's feet he would feint. lol

That great scene was pretty embarrassing for the Bayern players, I think...;)

He probably save the water in a bottle on his wall as well. Sometimes I imagine him sitting in his little office, watching the games and doing commentary with a Bayern Munich, Barcelona or Real Madrid jersey on.
