Best moment of the match though was when Pig Riser smashed the ball into the electronic boarding and slipped. I'm sorry, I know I'll get a lot of stick for this, but it would have made my year if he tore an ACL doing that. What a tit.
I'd never wish injury on any player, maybe bruises for Luca Toni, but that's all. I also liked Rosenberg's goal, 5th I think, that he had great reactions to get.

Me neither, but theres a part of me that would have laughed really hard if that happened.

Did anyone else watch this match on GolTV and have to listen to the announcers saying how Bayern were dominating the game?
Such commentators also exists in Germany.
If it runs like today i enjoy it, because i know that they hate us
and it´s hard for them to do their job. ;)
Now i watch Sportstudio (Thomas Schaaf is there btw)
and i hope for Kathrin Müller-Hohenstein as commentar,
because she is a Bayern fan.
edit:
Sadly not KMH, but Wolf-Dieter Poschmann comments.
He comments a bit boring, but has no bias. Let´s hear,
what Schaaf has to say.

Funny how Werder doesn't manage to score against clubs like Anorthossis and against bayern, away, you beat us 5:2. :o Congrats until the next time.:p

Maybe the result against Famagusta was the reason.
The players, the management and many fans (me included)
were very pissed and the media made much pressure,
some players got blamed very harsh.
At such points a team can show a positive or negative reaction.
Gladly they showed a positive.

I didn't even watch much of the match, but I reckon I shouldn't eat any humble pie; the whole supply should be reserved for the FC Bayern players.
haha

I wouldn't go that far with it...
but it was funny yeah.

Typical Werder...
Injury crisis, morale very low, going into a match where you are huge underdogs...and you score FIVE GOALS!! :D
Simply beautiful!!!
No matter how many players you steal from us ULI and KHR we'll still play beautiful football!

Nice work, guys! My dad is from Bremen and a huge fan so I am a supporter to a certain extent! Ironic that the goals for Bayern came from Boroski.

Sadly, our team always needs a kick in the arse to perform. They always show a positive reaction to pressure, maybe the fans and everyone else should do this more often.
It is all about having the right attitude, which they often lack unfortunately.

I've just got a call from my brother, telling me that we was at AA with a friend (who attended the Lufthansa school in Bremen some years ago and became a Werder sympathisant). I think he & Flo enjoyed that game...;)
Maybe I'm going to post a few nice pics later on.
PS: What a sensational goal & fantastic performance from Özil!

Haha, often the international reporting has quite a Bayern bias, but this commentator is having a great day

To be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if he did. He seems to perform exceptionally well against the 'big' teams. He was great against Schalke earlier this season, and he was great against Bayern yesterday.

Wow, wow, wow, wow, wow!!!!!
What a match! My son, born in Garmisch, isn't speaking to me right now, he'll be fine in a day or two. Oezil was great. We must find a way to keep him on the pitch. Even Proedl played well. Without 5 of our best, we blow BM out of the water. If we had hit 6-0 they might have implemented the mercy rule!!!
Oh man do I feel GREAT!!!!
Post of the day...my sentiments exactly!

I think I'm developing a real personal dislike of the GOLTV product. It's not the games they show but the production. Firstly, the program guide shows the wrong teams and calls it a friendly (my computer has been down for a week) so I didn't know it was Bayern v Werder until the show began, and second; I watched the game in with English commentary...did that UK color-man say Frank Ribery's daughter needs to get slapped? Why not his fat ugly daughter then? Goofball

I like her, she applauded at our goals. ;)
Maybe that was the background of his statement.

This could have been the perfect weekend if Schalke would not have won. We won convincingly against our main rivals away ("6 points"), and HSV lost.
Hoffenheim look like a dangerous team, definitely won't be an easy match for us next week.

Hoffenheim will be a tougher test than Bayern Munich.
This team has a positive run.

Well, but so are we. But knowing Werder, that can change pretty quick...
Would love to see us having a run again, just like last year (in both halves of the season). If we really want to challenge for the title, we probably have to.
Or even better, a good start and some consistency for a change, but that's probably not the Werder way... :)
