KANSAS CITY - Head Coach Bob Bradley, joined by Guy Smiley, Pepsi VP of Marketing, announced a new soft drink sponsorship based upon the latest on-field performance of the Wizards. The team has, of late, been grossly outclassed by opponents from Mexico and MLS. In their past two games, KC has been outscored 11 goals to 2, and Wizards management agreed the moment was right to announce the new soft drink sponsorship in light of the rash of ankle-grabbing exhibited by the team itself. In an unusual twist, the sponsorship is to honor the teams that are lucky enough to face the so-called "Rainbow Warriors".
Pepsi's Mr. Smiley explained the sponsorship this way: "We've been experimenting with new additives to soda drinks - - ginsing, vitamins, things of that sort. Today's consumer seeks additional satisfaction, beyond refreshment. Considering KC's apparent willingness to bend over and be repetitively ass-********ed, we've decided that it's a perfect time for Pepsi and the Wizards to jointly introduce our viagra-energized drink, 'Mount-and-do.'
