I went to it on friday and laughed all the way through. Quite the black comedy, which I do enjoy. Clooney, Pitt, and Malkovich all had excellent performances. It's tough for Pitt to portray someone "uncool" but he did a pretty good job.
***Sort of spoiler alert***
One of the funniest bits for me was when Clooney was chopping the carrots and got into a tiff with Mrs. Cox, storms out of the room, goes upstairs, goes into the bedroom, comes downstairs with his "liberator" pillow, and storms out of the house.

My favorite part was when Pitt's character called Malkovich's character telling him that they "were in posession of his shit. his sensitive shit."
Can someone tell me why he cut the tags out of his suit though?

I also LOVED this movie. But I fear it's going to be a one-night stand. I don't think I want to see it again, at least not for a good long time. I want it to be fresh and new again next time I see it. This is also why I'm waiting for a good long time for another Clooney-featured movie about spies... Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, which I rank amongst my all time favorites.

I really enjoyed the movie and found the underlying concept of the film, that nobody in the intelliegnce agencies really understands what is going on but they go through the motions anyway to be probably a lot closer to the truth than many would like to admit.
Like many Coen Bros. films, esp. Fargo, they mix some excellent humor with brutal violence but overall this was an enjoyable movie to watch. I've never been a big fan of either Pitt or Clooney but thought both did well in this film, esp. Pitt, and Frances McDormand is one of the great character actresses of this era.

It seems like forever since I saw the movie, but I think I remember Pitt trying to think like a gangster. In the event he was captured or killed, he didn't want anyone to readily identify where he was from based on the stores he shopped at. There was a similar scene in The Departed.
