VOTE: Do you think Cobi is too old to play next season?
YES
NO
A year ago, I would have said yes, he's stepped up since getting back from Korea and has put in some great performances...nah, he's still got a year left on his contract.

HELL, NO!!!!!!!
True, Cobi did not play very well at the beginning of the season. But since he came back from Korea/Japan, he's REJUVENATED & playing like a man who's been re-born.
Cobi is still only 32 years old, hardly over the hill. Maybe for the USMNT, but not for the MLS. As long as he continues to produce, Cobi's an invaluable member of the G-men.
Hopefully, Cobi will continue his hot streak, of late, into the MLS playoffs. If he does & Ruiz stays out of card trouble & scores GOOOOOOOLS, we have a shot.
Cobi, like it or not (and I love it), should play in MLS for another 2 or 3 years IMHO, at least.

At this point he is playing like a MVP rather than an overage player. Cobi has more than one good year left in the MLS. As for national team duties, maybe his time has come to retire, but then again he is great as a second half sub.

seems like he has had real practices in Korea, the type of practices that get you sharp and in top condition.
By all accounts Galaxy practices suck, so I would say Cobi by the time the play offs role around will have lost his sharp edge and be back to just another player on the Galaxy.
If he could do what he did in Korea to get ready and maintain that, he can play more than one year.
So it all depends on how motivated Jones is

As long as it is against Mexico. ;)
