It's not soccer but ... the huge headline in the Chicago Tribune today was -
"The Mitt Hits the Fan"
An alltime classic.

My all-time favorite headline is from when Caley Thistle knocked Celtic out of the Scottish Cup a few years back, a huge mega-upset in which Celtic apparently played very badly. Someone came up with:
"Super Caley Go Ballistic, Celtic Are Atrocious."
"The Mitt Hits The Fan" is pretty damn good, too.

Yeah, I remember the Super Caley headline. Funny stuff. Cleverer than the Mitt but not as profound, if you know what I mean. Because Cub fans have been dreading the $%it hitting the fan ever since they were up 3 games to 1 ...
