Are there any outlets for downloading matches as MP3? I'd be curious if this was available for any league, really.

Your best bet would be to search newsgroups and bittorrent sites and then convert the audio/video into your preferred format.

There was a site, which may still be up and running, called Soccer Radio (or something like that). The site listed all of the audio streams that were available and radio channels. Of course the listings grew but the free options shrank as individual teams started selling subscriptions. I am guessing that very few teams actually have podcasts of their games, and would both echo Frank's comment about downloading A/V and using a program to split out the Audio and consider recording streaming audio with a program that records sounds in your computer (can't recommend any because they tend to be PC programs and I work on a Mac) or running audio out of the computer and back into a audio software program (e.g., Audacity). There are good programs available for something like this but I am guessing you would onto those already and not posting if audio production was your thing. Take care.
