I thought the Villa crowd were quiet too. If you noticed how loud they got after the goalmouth scramble you described I don't think you can blame the microphones. That was the only time they got loud. They were as quiet as Arrowhead last night :(

Their team and their crowd looked beaten from the start.

They paid us too much respect (thankfully) and Murphy showed real class on creating that goal.

You are absolutely right. There was a pretty big roar during those chances. Not much else after that.

It was fun watching Diouf's debut. This is my first full year of being able to watch EPL games. Murphy was very impressive as was Riise. Owen was a little off this game, I thought. Diouf will do some good for your club I beleive. Good luck to you the rest of the way.
