Seeing as no one has started this thread I'll take it upon myself.

What do you guys think of Canada's basically non existent attack? Its half time now and the game has been played entirely in the Canadian half (not unexpected). Canada needs someone on the wing to cross it into Friend, I think if Radzinski was on he could do the trick.

It's horrible. Just terrible. An embarrassment. But no surprise. It's the turtle Mitchell system. Friend is completely by himself. Reminds me of his U20 team.

GOLLLLLLLL ... Mexico

What a joke. If Mitchell doesn't resign or gets fired after this, I'm done with Canadian soccer for a while.

Same goes for the players. Bunch of underachievers. I can't believe those lifeless bodies are the ones representing our country.

Cya in 4 years guys.

At least he's got Friend and Gerba finally. Or two forwards, anyway.

Two forwards seemed to uncork the bottle somewhat but he switched to it so late. You could see on his face he was thinking 'I shoulda done this two games ago.' He pissed away most of the game with a shit system ...

Why do I watch this ...

Now he's gonna say they still have a chance. Meaning I guess that one day they will win a game.

Canadas ball movement is terrible and that lone striker shit not working friend is not that good of a striker to pull it off.

Canada is pretty much done as far as I'm concerned
Mex 9 pts
Hon 6 pts
CAN/JAM 1 pt each

Mexico is pretty much through, and Canada will pretty much need to win their last 3 games, which is impossible (not gonna beat mexico after what I saw tonight).

It was probably the coaches fault that Canada implements this stupid system, but the team has not won in Mexico for fifty years, so all these excuses have been raised many times....poor coaching, high altitude, air pollution in mexico city, heat and humidity in tonights location.....perhaps it was the tight shorts, or the bumpy bus ride from the airport, or the fried iguana they ate for lunch....the fact remains, the Canadian team stinks when compared to the worlds top nations...and even the not so top ones.

The two strikers worked pretty good, but then who knows it may have opened up the midfield for more mexican attacks. I keep saying that I wont watch more games but I'll probably be in front of my TV for the next away games and at commonwealth for the MEX game.

I don't know what to make of all of this, a lot of people say we might have the best midfield in CONCACAF. I think not.

Do we have quality players though that could get us to the Hex? I think so.

Is our coach a douche bag who never should have got the job?
Yeah, defiantly.

Do we still have a chance? Yeah a slim chance.

What can we deduce from this? Get rid of Mitchell now, the guys just don't wanna play for him or his ************ ass style of play.

I watch this game very closely and from what I say Canada is strong enuff defensively that they dont have to play that silly house league formation espically if Friend is the lone striker, I think Canada should play the classic 4-4-2 or 3-2-3-2 which would look something like this

................ ...........of.......................................
brennan........... serieux..... ....staltari...........ski
Bernier..........Deguz..............Hutch............Radz
................................dero.............Gerba............................

or

Gerba..........Dero
................Radz..........Deguz.......Faran.......

...............Hutch......................Bernier........
.............Ski............serieux..........staltari
..............................Of...............................
I'll leave it like that, let U guys toss it around a little bit.

Aren't DeRo and Serioux out next game due to yellow card accumulation?
Certainly change the look of the team for the next game.

We're done and you can blame the CSA and Mitchell. I guess going 0-3 in the U-20 with no goals constitutes a raise to the Men's National coach. ********ing pathetic. CSA, you're muppets.

I agree word for word. I can't believe *that* was the performance they gave.

Actually if Honduras and Jamaica lose two games and tie with each other, you guys won't have to beat Mexico.

I think that's right...
