Ok, so about the game today. Was anyone else a little worked up that LD was the only one who got a yellow card in the 2nd half after the guy from DC pushed him twice?! What the heck is up w/that?! GRRRR! It made me soooooo angry! :mad: And then in sudden death, when LD took that shot at the goal, and the goalie barely stopped it. I don't think I've ever been sooo excited and so un-excited so quickly. I thought for sure it was in. But, dang! That was definately a good game!!

AMEN!! I think that was well said! People try to play jokes on fans just for a laugh cause they have nothing better to do with their life. If Landon wanted everyone and their mother to know his screen name, he'd post it on this website. Obviously, fans are making up screen names and pretending to be him. Don't fall for their scams. Your only hurting yourself in the long run. Trust me....I know...

oh my gosh. i was so mad wen they gave the card to
l-do. they should have gave it to the other guy. he pushed him twice yeah? and then L-do was pointing at him so i think he was calling him out or sumthing.
and yeah... dont make up fake sn's to trick us 13 years old.... thats just mean.

Did you guys honestly think Moose was serious? Hell, did you guys honestly think ANYONE would post a player's s/n? Yeah, Landon's s/n for MONEY because Moose is that desparate. Sheesh.
If you want to thrive on these boards, don't take everything so seriously. Some posters here will eat you alive.
(And for the record, Landon got the card for dissent. Or at least trying to continue the argument with Nelson.)

and back to the game... lol LOVED it. too bad jimmy wasn't playing... he is just too awesome!! nice try by landon almost getting that goal in... that would have been so awesome, but nevertheless unbelievable!! :) lol and i thought he was going to kill that guy... he looked like he was pissed. but i'm so proud of him for handling himself the way he did today on the field.

I know why LD got the yellow card. I just don't think it was cool that Nelson didn't get the card too b/c he was obviously trying to instigate a fight or else he would have only pushed him once. There was no need for him to push him twice. I swear! Some sports players are sooo childish! Some of the fights are understandable, but some are just soo immature.

First of all, Nelsen never touched Donovan, it was Prideaux. And, while Prideaux definitely deserved his second yellow for pushing Donovan, Donovan deserved the card for the initial foul and the awful dive afterwards.
Donovan definitely dove. Alliteration.

Alright, tell you what. These kinds of jokes are a daily occurance in this forum, so you guys have two choices. One: believe absolutely everything you read, even if it says Landon knocked up Eric Wynalda's wife, and get made fun of constantly by Richter Boy and company, or two: take everything with a grain of salt.
I'd say you're much better off doing the latter.

I dont know the name of the guy who pushed LD, but whoever it was still deserved a yellow card for pushing him twice. One time is enough. But two times shows he was trying to instigate something. Yeah, LD didn't need to exagerate and fall on the ground, but he did. Never the less, the guy shouldn't have been pushing him in the first place. LD didn't run into him, he just started pushing him. LD deserved his yellow card, I'll admit that. But he shouldn't have been the only one who got it. The other guy deserved one for being a punk.
Anyway, the games over now. I wasn't the ref, so there's nothing I could do about it.

hey. i did get his sn and talk to him. i not lyin' why you think we all lie? i say best money i spent, cos it was no money either. i just have good luck. plus he did talk to me after a game and all just cos he and i had been talking online. everyone else he kinda signed autographs and just kept going. yeah. so moose was joking about selling it out. doesn't mean he doesn't know him or anything.
and kelly grey IS cute VanillaBean. i'd like to talk to him too!!! hehe i didn't know dj countess plays for the burn :( sucky :(

He didn't get a card for the dive he got a card for the late tackle but if the guy never pushed him he woudn't of gotten a card at all.That guy kept pushing landon throughout the game and out of the refs eye at least landon played it cool cuz theere could of been a fight. landon didn't deserve the card at all but if u do look at the replay landon did make a late tackle

Well, that's fine for you. I hope you have great conversations with the guy. But offering young girls with tender hearts a price for something that may or may not be real isn't cool at all--for them OR for the person whose screen name you supposedly have. This goes especially when it is discovered that there is somewhat of a plot behind it (mostly for you and your friends to get your jollies at the expense of these kids). It might have been a better joke if people didn't believe you were willing to sell it--but there were signs that a couple of people were willing to pay your price, and that's where it ceases to be a joke, when the kids start getting strung along. Someone will get hurt that way.
The jokes that we see here daily are actually quite funny, most of the time. So if you had gone back through the thread you would have actually seen that the screen-name thing has been done before, it isn't new. And the response was the same, albeit by someone else. LDB, Slippery and Richter Boy are well known around these parts as long-time posters and everyone takes them with a grain of salt because that's what we're supposed to do--we all know that. They don't string these kids along, though--and they actually have a decent streak (go read the Make-A-Wish thread), for as much as they take the mick out of these kids.

I'm sure people noticed that after the incidents with Prideaux came to a head that LD got moved to the other side of the field.
Prideaux should have been tossed--his first yellow was for persistent infraction, and this was a continuation. However, as AntiAngel121 and others said, Landon wasn't blameless--though I'm sure it was more out of frustration than anything that he went after Prideaux. I don't think I would have put up with that bull for as long as LD did.
