Man, it was like water torture the whole second half of T&T game. Have to mix up the chants a bit. Man.

Wow, two posts since 2005. Why don't you go to a game and change them yourself.

I was in the thick of it. I had no problem with it at all. We were singing a lot of songs throughout the game. Standing the entire time. It was a blast!

agreed, it was a blast. I really wanted to hear "Oh when the Yanks go marching in"...I should've started it, Lord knows I'm vocal enough.

Anyone catch the brief shot of Frankie appearing to be singing along on the bench? Got a kick out of that.

Great vocal support last night... I was fine with the shuffle button being turned off for a while, but I think 5-10 minutes would be enough (compared to the 10-15 it was last night). Either way, good stuff all the way around.

My personal opinion is that, at first I thought doing the same chant for that long was weird and maybe we should switch, but then I thought after 5 minutes that that constant noise, especially that chant, for 15 minutes is a great idea. Guys, If that becomes are trademark/tradition having a constant cheer/noise for that long at the end of every game, it would do wonders for the rest of the stadium that doesn't usually do cheers and the people at home watching. We could really get more involved, and it is so EPIC.

I think we should do it every game, starting at a similar time every game.

This is exactly the reason this is a good idea, not a bad one. I've heard a few other complaints on here that it was too repetitive and long at the end. I thought it was perfect, for the reasons described above. US supporters sections are often a mix of the people who travel to most games, locals that are in the supporters section and the people who see the good time going on and come join in. To keep so much noise for so long you have to have very simple, sustainable chants. That chant fits in perfectly. I also agree that it should be a tradition.

BTW, I was the dude standing on the concrete wall in the front row during that chant. Had a BLAST and everyone who was there was impressive as hell!

I couldn't have been happier about the non-stop song at the end. It takes a lot of energy to sing so loudly for so long, my respect and gratitude to everyone in the section who kept it going. Justin, the St. Louisan on the big drum, had a month's worth of blisters on his hand.

BTW, I was one of the other guys on the wall in the front row. Great game, that's how the supporter's section is supposed to be.

Thats the beauty of it though, when they turn out to be anthems it gives the whole stadium enough time to pick up on it and join in, where as the usual 15-30 sec chant... by the time the casual fan picks up on it the chant is over, we have to give the stadium time to pick up the chant even though we've been singing it for a while. Great job last night guys!!!

Was the rest of the stadium singing too though? (I don't know, I couldn't really tell from the middle of 118).

We were in 115 for the first half (that's what our tickets were for) and no one in 116, 115, or 114 were doing any of the chants, so we moved to 118 at half time to get in on the action.
