If only.
I've got Comcast Digital Cable, so I get 400 channels that aren't FSW.

Last week I choose and moved to an apartment that had Adelphia which carries FSW from my house that I sold. FSW was my main criteria for choosing the apartment...is that sad or what?

Is it me, or are they actually starting to get actual professional looking commercials on FSW? Could the days of "Ener-X" be waning? Oh, wait, I forgot about the spots for the "Spiroli", to say nothing about that 'titanium' knife set...

Dude, I totally understand. I'm moving at the end of the month, and have to pay $45 per month to get Digital cable to get one friggin channel...
Then again, how much would you have to spend to watch these games at a bar...

Not at all. I like people who think like me.
Plus I pay another 10 or 20 per month to the Spanish Package just so I can get FSW Espanol - plus a few other channels that show soccer.
I don't speak a word of Spanish.
I would also plug the MLS shootout package. A lot of soccer in their young man, A lot of soccer.

I've had this exact conversation with my wife several times. She doesn't get it, but fortunately she relented. Unfortuantely, I can no longer order the MLS package after i got the run around from Time Warner for a year and a half. But at least I get FSW.

The "EPL Preview show" was on today on FSW and it is the same as the "Soccer show" that was on BBC America last year.
I am going to assume that Tuesday's "EPL review" programme will be the highlights package that the BBC showed last year too. Which means every goal from every game over the weekend.
To see all the midweek goals you need to watch the preview show on Fridays.

In a similar boat. I switched from Cablevision to directv just to get FSW, and had to turn down an apartment because it didn't face south. Very sad. Yes, the commercials suck, and there are only 6 of them, but the channel is fabulous.
Note: Directv finally announced it's EPL PPV package: $ 269 for the whole season, and you get 2 live games each weekend (it was $ 129 last year, uggh). So you can watch Man U- West Brom live at 10, then Leeds- Man City on tape at noon should you be so inclined. One thing is, that's about the same as I pay for Metrostars season tickets per seat. It works out to something like $ 3.50 a game if you get two per week (not much cheaper than a bar). Not sure what the deal is on mid-week games, as it seems FSW will be showing them live anyway. There is a link to it at directvsports.com

But last season the package only had the Saturday PPV games. This season it also includes the Sunday PPV games, so it only works out to an $11 increase.
