not sure if this is in the right thread but I have a little rant/beef of my own

and reading all the stuff from the swapshop just made it worse

right before our season ended,one of my so called team mates came up to me and asked to borrow my cleats. I figured since we played almost a year together, had a few friend in common, what the heck? seems trustworthy, he even offered me a drive home which I thought was pretty nice of him

"I'll give them back after my game on saturday"

saturday came, and no sign of him...weeks pass and I ask one of his friends what happened to him

"oh he's in brazil"
"what? is he coming back?"
"don't know"

after weeks of asking his friends to find out something on facebook, and never getting a response, I make my own profile and go after him

took me another week for him to add me, and I FINALLY get his msn

so I'm talking to him, ask him what happened, he says he's sorry and I ask him to mail the cleats to a friend of mine who lives in brazil as well

he tells me he mailed them on a thursday

a week passes and no cleats (he sent it express, which takes 3 days max) ...I start to worry, so I ask my friend to give him a call

"yeah I sent them on friday" (not on a thursday like he told me)
"do you have the tracking number?"
"oh, I lost it"

what the hell...how can you lose a tracking number, when someone is bugging you non stop to get his cleats back?!

and i don't buy that "oh I forgot to give your cleats back" ...so he forgets, but all of a sudden my cleats magically show up in his luggage on route to brazil?

to top it off, he ignores all my messages :mad:

Hahahahhaha, yes that bug proved to be a vital part of my insect collection and as for the dirt, it now resides in my garden next to some shrubbery.

I have beef with not having a car, I had to run to my girlfriends house tonight to see her. It was well worth it though ;], and I was actually happy that I ran when I got home cause I felt felt fantastic.

No I don't sadly, I live on Long Island NY. It's horrible out here. A car is the only thing that I can use to escape.
