The Hammers announced today they signed Walter Lopez, a Uraguayan international left-back. He's 22, and a free agent from River Plate.
Anyone know anything about him? I like the fact that he's young and probably quick. And we obviously needed a left sided defender after losing McCartney.

We now have two left backs Les,Llunga and lopez,is it possible the owners are takeing us forward, and we were all wrong?:eek:

Anything's possible now in football! I hope that's the case, and we'll soon find out after the next few games.

Two guys, completely unproven in England, one of whom is 22 and already has a journeyman's career. Colour me unimpressed.
