How popular is 5 aside soccer in the UK? About how many leagues are running in the London area and does anyone have an opinion of which is the best one to join? I'm sure that you probably have to have your own team before you join one of the leagues. I'll probably be able to rustle up 5 or 6 willing participants if necessary. Can you join at any time or is there a start to a season? I haven't played in these leagues before, just heard about them from a colleague so hence the lack of knowledge.

It is very popular but I don't know about any details I do know that you could go to your local astro turf pitch or local football league and ask them.

Astro turf most play on it and if you go to your local one and ask at the reception (if they have one and ask if they host 5-a-side competitions.
