Two questions, Jonny:
Just what is your fascination with publishing this every month the moment the rankings come out? You post the rankings, with no comment nor context. Do you have a reason that I didn't know about for doing this?
Also, why do you eliminate the actual-points column?

No joke...
better take those rankings more seriously.
That's how the qualifiers will end this time around.
I hope I don't get banned for that! ooopps!

you will never see hunduras y costarica play versus anguilia right? but el salvador its beating worthless teams like haity, surinam y anguilia. panama is ok. but our ranking is below 120?what about the time we beat denmark, bolivia and china? and we have world cup experience mexico70 y espain86. thats bettr than hunduras.

Are you seriously suggesting that world cup experience that happened decades ago should be considered in the current rankings?

Those are the September ratings, so only the first game of the third round of qualifers was taken into account. And at that stage, Suriname had drawn away to Haiti and Jamaica had done the same in Canada.
Look at the October rankings, and it might be more accurate.

That won't be of much help. Suriname is 108th and Jamaica is 116th.
The November FIFA Ranking (http://www.football-rankings.info/2008/10/fifa-ranking-november-2008-preview-iii.html) will include Jamaica's win against Mexico.

I like the idea of having a caribbean team in the uncaf tournament it would bring a little bit more interest and even out the groups.(8 teams instead of 7)
