Thought the first 2 hours were great - plenty of new plots and introduction of new bad guys or who's really dead is pretty cool.

Interesting new stuff developing. They got a whole Dirty Half Dozen thing going on now which seems contrived, but could be entertaining.

I am glad the season has started, I have been looking forward to it since the finale.
I thought the episode moved a little fast though. Everything just came together too quickly. But, it looks like its going to be an interesting season.

Who didn't see that Gretchen would not die?
Bye Whistler.
Welcome back Sarah.
Overall, great opening.

it was alright. their story about the prison in panama burning down and all of them getting out was ridiculous. t-bag "needing" to eat his hombre out there before ever finding a drop of water was also ridiculous.
oh, and the new guy with the gadgets... is annoying as hell. how convenient that he just happened to have invented the exact thing the group needed.

1. I was totally not happy for the first hour and ready to dump the show permanently. It was just absurdity upon absurdity.
2. Then I said ******** it and sat back and watched the last hour thinking...well this is about to be deleted for ever of my DVR as the show has totally jumped the shark.
3. Then I started to really like what they did and the new plot and I generally was enjoying the second hour alot.
So I am cool with it and it reamins on the DVR. Just ignoring how everyone got together (like the prison burnging down, etc.) and enjoying the show again.

The whole assembly of the group was one of the biggest stretches thus far in the show, but it might be a good thing they got that out of the way early on. I also laughed when the Asian guy jumps into the conversation with "I've actually got a next generation piece of technology that will not need to be modified and that does exactly what we need right here."

I thought the "I had a bad mexican" "joke" was sort of stupid.

I was under the impression that he was placed there because he had that piece of equipment but I could be wrong.
Yeah, how everyone gets nab up by law enforcement all at once was a stretch. I am a little surprised about Billick being part of the group but I am sure they will find a role for him somewhere.

I got the sense he was going to be the hacker/tech guys of the group.

Three seasons and these guys are largely uncatchable when they get out into the real world. One episode and the lot of them are locked up in 30 minutes flat - it was actually a little funny.

Just watched it, great start to the season both were quality episodes. Can't wait for next week. The Black guy who works for the company is nuts.

some poor acting and writing in the beginning last night (especially the argument between Scofield and the Homeland guy).
It seems like they are rushing plot lines and creating tension in false ways. I didn't like the whole "you must find the next card holder by the end of the day" thing. It seemed like there was no reason for the rush until AFTER the superiors put the pressure on.
That said, I still like where this is going so far. Just don't ruin it!

yeah, while these two episodes haven't been excellent, they're at least not horrible enough that i'll stop watching.

The problem the show faces is the novelty (which was hugely impressive the first season) has worn off. They're getting inventive, but it is going to take some impressive writing to really keep things from continuing to slide. Frankly, they need to wrap it all up (they could have a season ago) or this thing is going to turn into Gilligan's Island.

It turned into Gilligan's last year. I swore the show off after last season, but I think I'm suffering from battered wife's syndrome. I just keep coming back. My wife likes it, but hates watching it with me because I bitch about every little stupid thing in each episode. I don't know what it is, but I can't stop watching.

At this point, I couldnt stop watching it even if it was horrible. I have watched this show too long to not know how this all ends. This needs to be the last season though and they need to wrap up all loose ends.
