Update: Updating an earlier report, Torres does in fact have a slightly torn hamstring and is expected to miss 2-3 weeks according to BBC Sport.
Analysis: Torres will miss Spain's World Cup qualifiers, but they are loaded and won't miss him too much. For Liverpool, it appears likely he will miss their showdown with Manchester United on September 13th.
