I haven't seen any threads on this for a while and with the release date approaching, we might as well start this thread now.

I've seen all of them thus far and i quite enjoy them. Some of the scenes are bit over the top for me...but, i like the psycho, serial killer movies.

cuz it's interesting to see what twisted plot the writers come up with. Some of the stuff is pretty original.

I would also say, that it's the one series where in each film you find out more about Jigsaw, his personality and the life he led before he started "testing" people full-time. He's got to be one of the most well developed characters in "modern horror."

It's messed up how the writers could have such a mentality, but that to me make these type of movies the best in the horror genre. They are more realistic and less CGI/Sci-fi effects, things that can and sadly probably already happened that way.

Spot on. I always wonder how messed up these writers have to be to come up with this stuff.

Saw it today. It was a good move. Not as gruesome as the typical Saw flick (there is gore, it just isn't in abundance) as they tried to develop more of a plot for this one.

They also went back to the Saw 1&2 method of having a group of people all linked by one event trying to escape the game

It was a good movie and I expect the sixth installment, set to come out in 2009, to be the final chapter of the Saw films.
