Great win today!
Guily played another fantastic game and we no doubt deserved the win. Hoarau played well but should have had a hat-trick as he missed two tap-ins! His finishing definitley needs improving. Sakho made a few mistakes again and was subbed for traore near the end. Overall a really good performance from the whole team.

Hoarau was a great defensive asset, getting rid of almost every dangerous freekick or corner, that is why PLG even made Kezman wait until Caen played their corner to get in.
I'm not going to go over the game, but it was great. The first 10 minutes were phenomenal, considering what we have had to endure for the last two years, the level of play was amazing, Caen couldn't touch the ball. After that, we easily kept control for the rest of the first half. The second was different. Caen is a great attacking side, and it got harder for us to defend, but they got a little unlucky with a sub getting injured, and the fact that they could easily have gotten a pk call, but on the other hand, had it been Pauleta and not Hoarau in front, Paris would have had already scored 3 goals and locked up shop. So my analysis for Hoarau goes both ways, he helped where he could, and yet I feel disappointed that he could have made things much simpler.
Still, a win is a win, 7 points after 4 games, of which three were away. not bad.
but some bad news. Sakho's injury doesn't seem to get better, and they've decided to finally operate, meaning he'll miss a good two months. Apparently today afternoon they tried out Bourillon in his place, which is where he played last season at this time, but I fear that a little thing like this could disrupt the good balance in the team on the field, especially with the very important games that are coming up, because Sakho has been huge so far, despite the goal at Monaco and the Sochaux pk. In fact, Camara looked a little shaky yesterday, compared to him.

did Kezman play at all?
I don't understand why PSG can't attract bigger names! Kezman is ok and a step up from what they have had but not a world class striker by any means. It is weird how leagues rise and fall in popularity. France was one of the better leagues in the 80's and attracted many big names. Maybe someday it will all come back around.

Because their owners Capital Colony dont have the money. Its not possible for a Russian oilman or Arab shiek to bail them out because France has strict rules about how clubs operate their finances. They are pretty much screwed unless they are run and operated really well and ownership has deep pockets.
