Another 3 points in the league.
Looking more and more like a three horse race even at this early stage.

I can't recall just exactly how many games over the years involving Man U and Arsenal that i seen over their title winning years that they hardly deserved, yet still got, all the points. It is the forte of title winning sides and we (so far) seem to have picked up that knack.

Boro looked a quality side in the second half and put in some nice passes.I think Gallas was badly missed in the center today.Fair play to Huth, but, he's a year or so away still.Bridge did okay-but he's no Billy.

Brummies next.
Can't see a 0-3 to us again this time, but, i think we'll take all three and go top.

birmingham looks good. they were up for manure until taylor got redcarded and gave up a pk. they will not be easy to beat at home.

The referee spoilt the game, it was a harsh decision.... Taylor should've been given a yellow instead, he retracted his legs when Scholes touched the ball first, but couldn't stop from sliding into him though.

Us against them will be a close call, IMO we might end up with a draw, 0-0 or 1-1 perhaps but there will be no high scores, must agree with clan on that one.

With Forssell on the sidelines watching, we might just have an egde over them I feel. But they are a dogged team, they rarely let in more than one goal in a match, especially when the are playing with all eleven on the pitch.

This side still isn't playing Chelsea football. We saw bits near the end yesterday, when they started moving the ball up through the middle to either flank with sharp, one touch passing, but still too many passes go to where someone should be and isn't... and, fair play to Middlesborough, they kept the pressure on through most of the second half and looked the better side with Mendieta slicing up our backline like a surgeon.

But, as has been said, the championship winning teams do find a way, and the boys found it yesterday.

One nice bonus of the loan system: Zenden wasn't able to play yesterday and as someone mentioned, Forssell won't be playing against either. It will be interesting to see if any of the players loaned out to other clubs hurt Man U. or Arsenal, significantly.
