I'm really saddened by the performance of the team. It's not that they are not playing well but....we are not getting the results.

I think we should remove Igor Biscan and get a real defender in until Henchoz is fit.

Nah... we played very very well in a lot of spells today...

lets just face it..

we robbed arsenal in the fa cup final...

today they robbed us back...

And there wher ea lot of positives today... some of the passing was excellent, El Hadj continued to look superb on the right (and occasionally the left) hand side, Salif as mentioned gave Gerrard the freedom to move around and go forward a bit more, Biscan looked strong... I still prefer to be honest to see riise and heskey working together down the left as i actually liked the relationship they had, but then Kewell does have more natural creativity than Emily...

NOt completely convinced yet by Le Tallac but time will tell...

But lets face it.. .we dominated completely in the first half and could have been three up, instead of arsenal getting lucky and grabbing an own goal just before half time....

For years people have critised liverpool for sitting back, and praising arsenal for the attacking football they play...

No we play attacking football, arsenal look like a bunch of dumies and hope to get lucky, and who wins...

You cant bloody win sometimes...

But theres certainly no panic... If arsenal continue to play with as little skill as they did for large parts of today, they will lose a few games this season.. Man Utd arnt half the team they where, Chelsea will go arse up at some point this year, So really the only ones we need to slip up are birmigham.. :)

I know we did well tonite... but we really have to slip out of this slump. We can't keep scoring and let in goals behind.

What worries me is the fact that if we go on like this we may see Owen and Gerrard leaving us sooner than later.

I believe in Houllier. But we relly need to strenghten our defence and really soon.

I don't know about what Liverpool FC should do next, but I think the fans should start learning how to post in the Liverpool forum, to be honest with you.

I love Liverpool, but the recent results are just terrible.

1) We can't even beat the weaker teams. I'm beginning to feel that we don't even stand a decent chance against the weak teams.

2) We can't even beat the stronger teams. The general feeling for the Arsenal match is that we are not going to win.

3) What is exactly the point to be "playing well", "dominated" the game, more "shots on goal", and all the rubbish. Cannot win means cannot win. What's the point of dominating the field, 100 shots on goal, 50 corners, 99% posession and we still lose?

Let's face reality, using statistics and perception to make ourselves feel better does not change the fact that we sucks.

What should Liverpool do next ???. I suggest you buy Lorenzo Amoruso for £7m and Hyppia and Kirkland. Well, I can hope.

You need a new attitude in the clubhouse and on the pitch. You played well against The Arsenal and really outplayed us and should have won. But that was the 1st time, I have seen a dedicated and aggressive side.

^ IMHO it's tinkering that is required - I know Arsenal had some players out, but we were missing Hamman, Henchoz, Carra, Murphy and Baros.

Every player knows it'll take a few game to get to grips with what is required for this 'new' attacking style - namely taking the chjances that we create, at the moment we are not - BUT they are there for the taking.

Buy a long term partner for Hypia.
Ugo Ehiogu would be a good solid partner for him, Henchoz is missing to many games with minor injuries.

Sack the Frenchman and put Phil Thompson in charge. It seems the last time the club played well was when Houiller was ill and Thompson ran things.
