Which one? I rank them as follows:

Group D
Group G
Group F
Group A
Group H
Group E
Group B
Group C

Group G {Arsenal, Porto, Fenerbache, Dynamo Kiev} -- Toughest Group
Group D {Liverpool, PSV, Marseille, Atletico}
Group H {Zenit, Real, Juventus, BATE}
Group F {Fiorentina, Bayern, Lyon, Steau}
Group E {Man U, Villarreal, Celtic, AaB}
Group A {Chelsea, Bordeaux, Roma, CFR}
Group B {Inter, Bremen, Anorthosis, Panathinaikos}
Group C {Barca, Sporting, Basel, Shakhtar}

I think Group G & Group D are almost pretty much equal when it comes to overall difficulty. While Group H is not too far behind. I can see people ranking any of those 3 groups, THE Group of Death. The others continue to fall notches below.

Group D is the toughest by far. Any of those 4 teams can end up being first.

Definitely Group D (Liverpool, PSV Eindhoven, Olympique Marseille, Atlético de Madrid) for me, the most important reason it's because I wouldn't surprise me that any of them will be first or last of the group.

I'd say Group F looks pretty tough, Fiorentina, Bayern and Lyon all very strong and Steau are no pushovers either. Agree that Group D is also hard and probably the most evenly balanced.

That doesn't make it the toughest, it makes it the most wide-open.

Also French teams not named "Lyon" are so up-and-down I think we have to wait a few more weeks before we know how brutal Group "D" is.

Group G is definitely NOT the toughest, Arsenal will cruise it at home
and probably Porto too. Fenerbache might scrap second on home form, Dynamo will be lucky to get 2 points.

Id say F or D have the most balanced teams.
If Zenit remain consistent H would be a very powerful group,
but we wont really know till we see the form of some of the more irratic
teams.

That doesn't make it the toughestThat's exactly what it makes it. If the first seed can lose against the fourth seed without anyone being surprised, that's a tough group.

So the English Championship is tougher than the Premiership? Try telling that to every club that got promoted to the top flight in the past 5 years!

Also Athletico is not the weakest team in that group. Not even close. People would be surprised if PSV finish ahead of Liverpool.

There are more teams that can go down and more teams that can go up. In the Prem there are two teams that can win and about five-six that can go down. Also Athletico is not the weakest team in that group. Not even close. People would be surprised if PSV finish ahead of Liverpool.I didn't say Atletico was the weakest. I said they were the fourth seed. Learn to read.

Group D has the most delicious potential.

Group H is going to be fearsome for the fans.

You're confusing parity with toughness. Crack open a dictionary.

I didn't say Atletico was the weakest. I said they were the fourth seed. Learn to read.

But then you're arguing something completly pointless. The group isn't any tougher whether Athletico was a 4 seed and PSV was a 2 or vice versa.

He!

1x last 4 CL
1x last 8 CL
1x last 16 CL
4x last 8 UEFA
1x ended 4rd in CL group

Since 2000!

And:

00/01: PSV
01/02: AJAX
02/03: PSV
03/04: AJAX
04/05: PSV
05/06: PSV
06/07: PSV
07/08: PSV

Do you really think Lissabon did better in Europe or in their own league :D? But, seriously we can be seen as the weakest team. But we're always a very dangerous team to play against in Europe.
