Any budding DJs out there

Ive had my vinyl decks for 3 years now and its time to upgrade to cd decks. However I dont have a lot of money to buy a top notch setup just yet. I have a good mixer so would only need a good pair of start up cd decks. My budget is £300 or $550.

Also one question which could be me being a retard. Ive see several packages which say the decks arent mp3 compatible. This obviosly means that they cant play mp3s, isnt this a massive flaw seeing as though its the whole point of having cd decks to reduce the cost of buying expensive vinyl or am i missing something?

i would disagree, this is a music forum as well...

I have one Technics sldz-1200... CD and MP3... i am getting a second one... i have 2 Technics M3ds still and don't plan on getting rid of them...

Or, if you already have a massive MP3 collection and a laptop. You might want to spend your money on Serato (http://www.serato.com/scratchlive). Buying MP3s is better than CDs and if you want to use ur vinyl with ur MP3s, it's really easy.
