What happened to this show? Two weeks in and I have to say that it went from an intelligent discussion with journalists about European football (with a bulk of that conversation focusing on EPL) to just another EPL show with ex-footballers and banal comments from fans. Thank god for the BBC World Football podcasts and WSC.

I liked the old format a lot better. This has been a misguided attempt to make the show into something more mainstream.

Agreed. I don't get why they did it.
The old show as very dry, but at least it had focus.
This one's all over the place, like they don't know what kind off show they want it to be.
Really, if I want that kind of program I download "Soccer AM".

They look like making it their version of Sky Sports' Soccer AM, minus the Soccerettes. Although, I must say, I did like Rebecca Lowe's boots last week. :)
