Since the draw for the group stages is tomorrow, I thought I'd start a thread on this and we can use this thread for all CL related discussions.

Chelsea, Liverpool, Barcelona, Arsenal, Manchester United, Lyon, Internazionale, Real Madrid.

Pot 2

Bayern Munich, PSV Eindhoven, Villarreal, Roma, Porto, Werder Bremen, Sporting Lisbon, Juventus,

Pot 3

Marseilles, Zenit St Petersburg, Steaua Bucharest, Panathinaikos, Bordeaux, Celtic, Basle, Fenerbahce

Pot 4

Shakhtar Donetsk, Fiorentina, Atletico Madrid, Dynamo Kiev, CFR Cluj, AaB Aalborg, Anorthosis Famagusta, BATE Borisov.

Pot 2 seems more difficult this year than it has been in the recent past. Munich, Juve, Roma. Those are tough draws. On the other hand, there seem to be some real pushovers in the fourth pot this time around.

it also means you can't draw Fiorentina though, so its far more likely you'll avoid a tough pot 4 team.

I'll take that. Could have been worse. I think there's depth in the Arsenal group and Villareal are not to be underestimated (Celtic is one I'm sure Utd didn't want).

The Liverpool group is no walk in the park either. Some good groups all around really.
