Not a supporters group, just an idea of what to call the North Stand at Qwest...

I like it.

hey GS, how could we convince the FO to start marketing Brougham End and King Street end?

Bart knows we want to call the south stand the brougham end....but I would like to see a bigger push for it.

If you can't convince them, we just put up some banners and by the end of year one, the name is stuck. It is a good marketing idea though. It definitely sounds better then "The Supporters Section".

Maybe something for the Members Assoc. to look into.

The club itself is likely going to stick to calling it "X-Box Pitch at Qwest Field" and us fans will have to do the home made banners for the rest.

Getting Calabro onboard would get key, too.

are you organizing a supporter group for the north end GS? mere curiosity.

No.

I am all for *someone else* doing it, but I've been down that road and would rather just hang out and run a website. :)

Who knows Ronlaldo could be sponsored by "The Diver's Institute of Seattle"

"We you dive as much as me you should be certified by the best"

Love all the suggestions, well done...

Starbucks should be affiliated with atrophy and a dying brand, maybe they could sponsor when a team loses a player, due to poor play? The Starbucks "In the Red" Card?

Ah never mind, Starbucks is so starved for cash, they wouldn't be able to afford the sponsorship. I think my uncle's landscaping business has more liquid capital these days.

Love the Ronaldo diver sponsorship, genius.

As for a nickname for the north side, I like what was proposed, but eagerly await possible alternatives.

Is there a proper name for the statue on the north end of Qwest? If there is that might be a cool nickname (inspiration for that comes from the Clock End at Highbury). I spent about five minutes looking it up and couldn't find anything. :(
