Good job this weekend guys and gals! I would say it was a successful roadtrip overall... We drank and sang from 10am (when my lazy/tired/hungover ass finally got on the bus)

Post your comments here on your thoughts etc.

Some of my favorite parts were:
Dan ripping a Galaxy license plate frame off some car in the hotel parking lot. Then Sunday morning when i was checking out some lady was bitching to the front desk about her license plate frame bring broken (around a couple dozen guys still wearing Earthquakes stuff) WHO DID IT? DUH!!!!!

Singing 'We don't give a F--K About Beckham" with the Union Ultras (chivas)

Marching in and out of the ToolBox

Drinking from 10am that morning - 2am that night!

Our boy Joe Cannon walking through the tunnel holding up an ULTRAS / Earthquakes scarf- NICE ONE JOE!

The whole thing was great- Thanks Morgan and everybody else for putting all the work into plan this...

Wish I could have been there but work screwed me last minute. Whoever used my spot on the bus I hope you had a great time. Can't wait to read all about it here.

Nice job lads! You guys looked good in HD...too bad the gamee was a little lackluster, we should've put that one away.

Oh man, what a trip! The only way it could have been better is if the Quakes had pulled off the win. Other than that...I had an absolute blast! Props to Morgan for organizing! The trip went well from beginning to end!
Other highlights to add:

-Cracking open the booze when we hit the hills (the hills in Gilroy and not the grapevine!!!)
-Chanting most the way down there and getting good and fine tuned
-Getting resupplied with an insane amount of beer on our lunch stop
-Arriving at the stadium and getting a warm welcome from the Chivas supporters (I was expecting the opposite).
-Meeting some other travelling Quakes fans from SD (who will be joining us this Saturday!)
-Not having to leave our hotel afterwards to have a good time, because we had an awesome sports bar in our hotel lobby! (again thanks Morgan!!!)
-Seeing for my own eyes that Andre is a warrior when it comes to the ladies!!!
-Going undefeated in the fusbal table...oh yeah!

I can't wait to do this again. Hopefully next year we're able to pull this off more than once!

-Paulo

I made it to work this morning. I didn't want to work this morning. My shaking hands and very red eyes told me so.

I think I'd rather be back on a bus with Ultras and beer. :D Yaaaaayyy, Beer!

Thanks to Morgan for the trip - well done. And to Doubletree for graciously putting up with us. And to cool bus driver.

Good on the 1906/Ultras for causing great annoyance to the few bored psuedo-Goatfans at HDC, i.e. the ones sitting on their asses (throwing that "puto" goalkick call right back at 'em was classic). Maybe next Toolbox Scum game we oughta dispose of the sewage tank at the front gate on our way out - put it on YouTube for posterity.

I wanna go home. No like work w/headache.

I'm almost recovered. Should be OK tomorrow I hope:)

I thought it was funny in the car park after the game - many of us were getting on the bus or about to, when a group of Chivas fans approached the lagging quakes fans some 100 yards away. It was difficult to know what was going on, from a distance. It was funny when both groups burst into the same anti Galaxy chant. Very cool.

The license plate wasn't Dan. It was an anonymous person who may or may not have been associated w/ a Northern or Southern California soccer club.

I just felt like implicating Dan!

Thanks! But I did not break that galaxy license plate. I only set on fire Quiet Squad's section 138 at the end of the game.

Great trip overall. Hopefully next year we will be able to get two or three buses to LA. Too bad the team didn't get all the points, but us, as a group we had a very dominant performance.
Good job everyone! See you on Saturday. Don't forget, in section 101, dress code is enforced!

Sounds like you crazy kids had a blast. :D

I could not attend as it conflicted w/the Outside Lands fest in Golden Gate Park.
