Was getting close to 500, thought why not. Also thought I'd go with a secret agent twist.

Bummer. Would like Eidur back but I feel it won't happen.

Why exactly would we want him back? Drogs is coming back. As lazy and sometimes ineffective Anelka is...he has been scoring goals. Plus we have Di Santo as well.
(assuming he'd be played as a sort of striker)

Maybe he gets along well with former team mate [your beloved] man-bag Deco or something? :p
Seriously though, Eidur is a cultured player, still fairly decent, but he aint coming back and that is that.

assuming we don't get robinho, and sheva is gone, how about striker?

He's not a good striker for a 4-5-1 and we have a lot of creative types already. He's by far at his best in a 4-4-2 when he can roam as a support striker. Which is exactly what we don't need.

I wouldn't say a support striker is not what we need, we do need that option and I think Robinho could be [would be] used in that role [and Shevchenko was supposed to be that] on occasion. That said, we are not signing Eidur, that is the end of that none sense, thank you.
IF we don't get the little Brazilian bloke then we shall need a winger/support striker but we shall need one with pace - speed and fastness and quickness.
SWP to Citeh?
September 1st deadline. Still time for things to happen.

talk in Spain of Chelsea renewing interest in Villa, while Real supposedly reactivating an option and in for 45 mil euros
If it was one or the other who would y'all want if either?
me I'd take Villa and buy Young

now that would be a smart move and one that would be more than welcomed
problem is that I dont think that lad wants to move after it appears that the ship has been steadied at Valencia.

dont know if Young is neccessary if we land Robinho
the thought of Robinho and Villa being added....
