Ended in a 1 - 1 draw.

Goals:
50' Erding
60' Sessegnon

Makelele with a third yellow in as many games.

Haven't watched the match, but reports say that Kezman looked good when he came off the bench. Hopefully, good sign of things to come.

Great goal for PSG, set up by Guily's previous run from that area of the pitch, where he totally BROKE the ANKLES of a Sochaux defender and went by him; this time, they went to double team Ludovic to keep him from doign the same thing, which opened up the lane to pass to Sessegnon; I think Ludo thought that Stephane was going to have an opp to run at goal, but instead he unleashed a GREAT shot...

...great goal.

Claude is a step slow right now...hope it doesn't last all season.

Terrible call on the PK. Camara got the ball out well before the defender came through.

Could have been a PK the other way when the defender chopped Armand down on the great move by Guily. Should have at least been a card for the scissor tackle.

Couple of good link-ups from Sessegnon and Guily. Hopefully they can continue to develop a good understanding.

Landreau had a number of good saves. With any luck his confidence is back. I think that was his biggest problem last year.

the jour de foot piece does not do it justice.
First of all, they think the pk call was right. Which is nonsense, Sakho clearly gets the ball first, and it's Erding who throws himself at his leg. On the other hand, they do not mention when Hoarau was thrown around when he had a clear heading opportunity, that is just as justifiable as this for a pk.

Next, the yellow cards. Sochaux came into the game with the idea to play rough. And they never got anything, while Paris had 4 ridiculous yellow cards. Makelele getting a yellow for a shove, where the opposing player just crumbles like a house of cards, pfff., but nothing for Pichot or Dalmat for numerous tackles from behind.

Luckily they got a taste of their own medicine. Perquis, that other paysan, thought he could do the same, but got Kezman's elbow on his face. I don't like Kezman for being a rather volatile player, but in this case he is innocent. If Perquis did not have red blood on his face, he should have gotten a straight red card.
Kezman overall did well.
But Landreau is clearly the Man of the Match.
He is coming back to his best form!
Both teams could have won, so in the end the draw isn't that bad.
Let's hope things go better next weekend in Caen!

btw, Sessegnon, little by little, keeps showing more and more Okochaesque qualities.

I've been thinking the same and especially after Saturday's match.

Hoarau seems to be in a period of still trying to figure it out with the new team and playing in Ligue 1 but the goal scoring skills are there.

Giuly!!!! WOW!!! How in the hell he didn't score from the combo with Sessegnon in the 1st still drives me nuts. This might be the heart of our midfield and once it's in full swing, I think we're scoring alot of goals from the group of Giuly, Sessegnon, Hoarau and Kezman.

Back line looked better than they have all season. Sakho (Thuram Version 2.0) seems as though he's starting to get it.

Finished watching the second half last night and I'm getting excited about this group.

No way in hell was that a PK, it was a very, very bad call and as stated earlier there was an ACTUAL Foul in the box that should have been called a PK. The only attempt on that foul was to play the body of Hoarau. Not even a yellow card. So many fouls committed by Sochaux from behind and no cards. Amazing that Dalmat didn't get booked and Pichot should have been sent off before Perquis's foul on Kezman. Perquis should have been booked - don't care if he ended up bloodied and carried off with a neck brace, his only intent on Kezman was to foul him hard and the irony is that he ended up hurt badly in a freak accident.

I wonder if Dalmat is now impressed by Giuly after having his ankles broken in the box? Giuly's moves in the second half and in particular against Dalmat was wicked and worthy of highlight reels. Looking at it made my ankles hurt.

Hopefully what we saw from Kezman is the start of something great because despite appearing rusty, he looked good.
