Says its 38% higher than the game against Sweden last week, so I'm guessing that game got a 1.1?

All I know is USA v. Sweden got a 0.8 in San Diego.
Of course, on a national scale, that means nothing.

The rating is pretty much where it should be.
The rating will go up if the US advances through the elimination rounds, just like they did in 1999.
Of course, the US has to get through Norway first on Wednesday night.

I got this from Soccer America
"In today's reality those are pretty good numbers."
-- ABC spokesman Mark Mandel on the 1.8 overnight rating for the
USA's 3-0 win over North Korea in Sunday's Women's World Cup clash.
The game was up against the end of early afternoon NFL games, the
beginning of late afternoon NFL games, and NASCAR. The NFL games'
overnight ratings, which measure the nation's top 55 TV markets,
averaged 14.5 on Fox and 11.1 on CBS. An overnight rating point
represents about 735,000 TV households. (AP)
