Steve Goff's story in the Post talks about Gaven's flick scoring. Wasn't it McGee?

Eh, that was written by Brian Strauss, not Goff.
But yeah, it's a bad error:
"The second setback came on a subtle flick from MetroStars teenager Eddie Gaven, whose late goal forced United to settle for a 1-1 draw yesterday before 13,521 fans at RFK Stadium."
Then:
"United appeared to be in good shape before the severity of Olsen's injury became known and before Gaven's late strike."
Finally:
"Playing a man down but desperate for an equalizer, the visitors created several chances before midfielder Mark Lisi's free kick found the head of Mike Magee as he darted behind the United defense."

Yea. Confused me. The PA at the game credited Lisi, but I was sure I saw a deflection. When Lisi was credited, I thought a DC player must have touched it.
So who got it? Like I really care.

It's so hard to tell with that team. They have so many goalkeepers running around..... ;)
