This probably goes in the Fire/Burn [R] thread, but if I put it there it will just get buried quickly.

I just wanted to say that I thoroughly enjoyed watching Dallas play last Sat. I was going to start a thread called Dallas: the Brazil of MLS, but maybe that's a stretch. But your team at least on Sat displayed skill and creativity that is the best in the league. Chivas, Pareja, and Vaca were running circles around the Fire. The players really displayed ball control skill and seemed to have a sixth sense on where to pass the ball to find an open man when pressured. Quality stuff. And where the hell did Broome come from? He keeps playing like that and he's gonna give Wade Barrett a good run for the left back spot on the USMNT. :-)

I watched the 2nd half of Sporting vs Inter Milan tonite and the Burn/Fire game was flat out better soccer.

I sure am looking forward to watching the Burn visiting again on the 21st, although of course I'll be rooting against them.

Let's give Jeffries due credit for allowing this creativity and for having the courage to go with three small mids at the same time!! Here's hoping he continues to coach this way.
