Not a big deal unless Zalaegerszeg scores a goal or two.

3-1 to United in the return match...
But a waste since we should have finished this tie today.

A loss is what we needed here to get us to NOT play like this in the return leg.
And more proof that Phil Neville is the worst player on Planet Earth and that if his last name were Smith he would be playing in Division 3 where he belongs.

3-1 would be a little more then "no worry" being as it is that 2-1 would eliminate them and send them to UEFA and make the Rio purchase look foolish without the riches of the Champions League to back it up......

1-0 now to the hungarians, but i am sure manure will maul them in leg two (although we can still hold out hope).

Yess!!!
FT Zalaegerszeg 1 - 0 Manchester United
But I agree, they'll beat them at least 2 or 3-0 at Old Trafford.

dunno---manyoo sounded very ordinary. zala is not a good team this year even in the hungarian league (0 wins, 1 tie out of 3 games). mtk or Ferencvaros would have beat Manyoo by 3 or 4.

For a long time Hungarian soccer has been looking for the new dawn. Every straw is grasped at. Maybe this is it. I doubt it. Still, it is a topsy turvy soccer world. Why shouldn't the Magyars get back to the top, or at least respectability. But, yes, realistically, we lose 5-0 at old trafford.

While it would be unfortunate for Man U. to lose at this stage of the Champs League, it could be a veritable "once in a lifetime" windfall for the Hungarians to qualify for the group round. The motivation is there for both sides.
And, this time the Hungarians have gotten into the revolving door first.

I'm speaking from selfish reasons only.
We could do without manure in the UEFA cup as we need a good run this time out.
