Ticket requests for November 2008 home Premiership and Champions League matches are now being taken.

Please remember that these tickets are for Americans who are travelling to London to see Arsenal play.

Also, please ensure you request tickets at least 10 weeks in advance of the date of the match you want to attend as that is when we have to order tickets from the Club. Champions League matches are a bit different as they obviously are only determined a few weeks in advance. For those, please keep an eye on the Club website for details of when CL fixtures are announced and PM us immediately for any home matches you want to attend as we are given only a very short window in which to order these.

The procedure for home Premiership and CL matches only is as follows:

1. PM us (aa tickets) with your username, your real name, the match you want to attend and the number of tickets you want. Please also put the name of the match and number of tickets you are requesting in the subject line of the PM. At this point we have one Club Level ticket per match (when the season ticket holder isn't using it) and this is 100GBP for most matches. If you want that ticket please note this in your PM and also indicate if you want a regular ticket if the Club Level one is not available.

2. Transfer roughly $100 per ticket that you are requesting to your PayPal account for B games. For A games (L'Pool, ManU, Chelsea, WH and Scum) it will be more like $140 per ticket. Please keep in mind that these are estimates to give you an idea of how much it will be but we will confirm the price exactly once tickets have been allocated.

3. Become a fully paid up premium member of Arsenal America and ensure that anyone for whom you are requesting a ticket is also a premium member of Arsenal America.

We will then PM you with whether we are able to give you the tickets you have requested. If we confirm that we are able to give you the tickets you requested, please then:

1. PayPal us the money for the tickets (send it to treasurer@arsenalamerica.com (treasurer@arsenalamerica.com)).

2. Send us your flight and hotel info (and phone number while in London if you will have one).

3. Make sure you have joined Arsenal America.

We will share the names of those who are getting tickets through AA for each match with those who are also going through AA so that you can be in touch with each other in advance if you want. We are doing it this way (so far) this season for various reasons, one of which is that we have run into trouble in the past with public listings of all the tickets we are able to offer.

Please PayPal the money to us as soon as we tell you how much the tickets are going to be. We have to pay for the tickets as soon as the Club tells us we have them so there is always a delay between when we pay and when you pay and with multiple games being ordered at once, we have to make sure we don't get too low on funds on our account so that we can continue to buy tickets.

We are generally not able to offer away tickets this year. We will post again regarding FA Cup and Carling Cup tickets as more information becomes available.

People this is not a thread where you reply saying how much you are hoping for a ticket to x game, but rather to inform you that AA is now taking ticket requests.

I was wondering if AA Tickets will let us know if getting tickets is not going to be a possibility.

Thanks.

Yes they will, but be patient which is a virtue.

For Spurs and ManU we aren't going to be able to confirm any tickets - beyond those we have already confirmed - for quite some time as the Club has yet to confirm to us what we will be getting for Spurs and hasn't even begun taking order for ManU yet. Because these tickets are so difficult to get and we get fewer of them from the Club, we cannot pre-confirm more than a few (which are the season tickets we have) because we really have no idea how many we'll get from the Club. And what would annoy you more - waiting a few weeks longer to know for sure or being told you have tickets to the match and then told that we don't have tickets for you afterall? We thought so...

Yeah, that definitely sucks, but its a lot better than buying an expensive ticket to London, and then finding out there are no Emirates tickets. :(

If there are any cancellations, though, I am your man!

So probably a non-starter that ought be posted elsewhere, but who's making the case to the club of the value the AA supporters club has and could have to them? I know we hate the French and all, but it seems as though Arsenal has a stronger fanbase in the US than any other side outside of ManU, yet does less to court the US public than other EPL sides. Does anyone actively lobby the club?

Generally speaking(and this is from Arsenal Scotland's part which I'm a member), clubs put in their requests for matches. Sometimes Arsenal can give out loads(Sunderland away, Blackburn away and some home games, Bolton home(last season), Fulham home(2 seasons ago) to clubs if there is NOT a demand. Plus supporters clubs generally have some type of relationship with other clubs which makes getting tickets easier.

Now in the case of the 'main four'(Chel, man, tots, and Liverpool), it is not always possible. Last year Arsenal Scotland was going to try and do a coach down to Anfield like we did in the 3rd round of the FA Cup in 2007. Unforunitly Arsenal was having a good run and everyone wanted to make the trip. I'm not sure how many people wanted to go, but we only go 6 tickets. Mind you the chairman did put a big request in, but at the end of the day, Arsenal tries to fairly give enough tickets to each club as they humanly can possible. It usually depends on the demand.

So nationality does not factor in when AA tickets or Arsenal Nigeria9you get my drift) make their requests.

Oh and I found this in an email.

Manchester United Ticket Requests

You will see that we have now confirmed the number of tickets we can make available to Clubs who have applied for Manchester United Tickets.
Regrettably for most Clubs we have not been able to meet the number requested. This is because we received almost double the number of ticket requests for the match this year compared with the same fixture last season.
When allocating tickets to make the allocations as fair as possible we took into account past ticket requests and the size and age of the Supporters Club. Finally a ballot was held if there was no other way to differentiate between Clubs.
We are sorry we have had to disappoint Clubs on this occasion.
