I haven't been seen any reviews or impressions of the new Impact stadium. What did you think of it? I imagine it is a great little stadium to watch a game. But what I really want to know is, did it feel cheap?
Or were you surprised at what $14 million could buy?

Pitch is great, the stands are relatively nice. It's a pretty bare stadium (I don't mean in a bad way), all seats get you close to the pitch. Parking is easy as well, costs about $10 and up.
The only thing that I won't ever do is get tickets through will call. For the first Canada Cup match with Toronto we had to wait in line for so long we missed the first half.

The pitch and stands (facing the field) are ok. So when you're playing/watching, it's great.
The offices are nice.
Everything else looks temporary (behind/under the stands, concessions, ticket windows, etc.).
I think with the other $15m stated for MLS expansion/refurb of the stadium, it'll look like a quality stadium.

I thought overall, for the money spent on the place, it is very nice. However, my two biggest problems with the place are the walkway for the main stands is directly in front of the stands, so the lower couple rows may have people obstructing your view throughout the whole game.
This also leads into my other problem, there is only one main food area, at half everyone races there and it is kind of hard to move on the walkway, players, coaches and refs must also cross the walkway during the half, so sometimes as you try to get up to the food or washrooms, you have to stop.
Other then that, the place is a great venue for football.

I specifically buy tickets on the other side of the field because of that, and they are cheaper.
