So Nelsen was out with the flu last night. Any word on his outlook for Sunday?

And Hudson had to leave the sideline after the half because he felt ill. They said on TV that the trainer was tending to him and that he was suffering from - what was it - stress from travel or some such thing. Any word on what actually happened and how he is?

I was going to make a joke about Nelsen being sick in the head with a cold and Hudson just being sick in the head.

But I really hope coach is ok. I remember he had some stress problems in Miami too.

I'm surprised there's been nothing on the DCU web site about Hudson or Rimando either. With Nellie, the flu is the flu. There may not be much more to say right away. "Stress" on the other hand can be very serious, i.e., heart. What gives? Did they all stay up all night to watch the replay and not come into work today?

Sounds like a euphemism for 'too many Newcastles on the bus' ;-)
I hope he's ok, there's no reason to stress, the team is actually playing good now - or maybe all the choices of who to put where got to him :)

I didn't give much thought about Ray missing the game yesterday, but now that it's brought up, I am worried. In the TV pre-game interview, he looked real disheveled, and, yes, stress is a real physical problem for him. As much as I've criticized him this year, and as much as Trask is a worthy assistant, I sure hope Ray pulls through this.

On the broadcast, they made a reference to Ray having traveled from a funeral (I think that's what they said) in Florida. Doesn't sound like he had an easy week.

Hopefully the team's performance will be the tonic he needs to feel better.

Ryan has been fighting the flu since coming back from France. Last time I talked to him he said he was getting better though. Hopefully this was just a preventive measure and he'll be good to go on Sun.

Ray was probably dehydrated from all the travel. It also looked to be really humid there last night.

Hudson not being able to be there for the 2nd half doesn't surprise me

His level of hate for the Metros, knowing just how HUGE a game it was, maybe he was thinking he couldn't STAND IT if we tied or lost.......

GOTTA LOVE IT!!!!!!! Guy thinks like me sometimes w/his passion for the team.....I say GIVE THAT MAN A BUDWEISER

Right now my level of HATE for the METROS WILL NOT GO DOWN......WE MUST WIN THE NEXT TWO GAMES, WE MUST PUSH THE METROS DOWN INTO HELL THIS WEEK

The word dehydration was mentioned during the broadcast last night.

When was that? For the Confederation's Cup? If so, it sounds like mono, not the flu. Maybe he better lay off the kissing.

The broadcast did say Ray had attended a funeral in Florida.

If that were true, what a *#*#*#*#*#*#ing competitor he would be for playing through it. Last time I spoke with him though, a few weeks ago, he didn't seem to be bad at all so I doubt that's the case.

Maybe he gave it to Bobby and that's the real reason he's been off his game...

It's a conspiracy, I tell you!

Not that there's anything wrong with that...
