What happened to them?
They got arrogant. It's the truth. Especially against Argentina.

I dont think they got arrogant, I think they just weren't up to the task, Brazil have been average at best this whole tournament. They were a little unlucky as well.

Lucas, Thiago Neves and Breno won't be playing in the bronze medal match. I think Ronnie will probably run back home to Europe.

Ronaldinho is a shadow of the player he was three years ago.
Brasil is on a bad run right now. They have not played well at all. Cameroon gave them tremendous problems because the opponent was as quick and as skillful. Brasil has problems with it's midfield and scoring.

They sure are, since quite some time. I am not the type to immediately blame the coach when the team loses, but in this case I think the Dunga style doesn't fit them at all. Agreed, modern teams should solidify their defense, but Brazil right now look like they are forced into a strategy that doesn't fit them. And by that, they lose their explosiveness and flow, which were their main assets.

I am delighted that finally Argentina kicked their ass, because it was already for a long time we were the better team and have always been humiliated in our previous encounters. Preventing them from getting the Gold medal that they still miss was the cherry on the cake:cool:

Now I don't even really care who wins the tourney, since we won it 4 years ago. But it would be deserved for some players like Messi, who was tremendous throughout.

As long as it's not Brazil, I don't care too much. And I do think both of their soccer teams are very, very arrogant. They think it's their right to win in every game they play in. The shameful way they ended the Argentina game just shows how nasty they can get when things don't go their way.

I think Nigeria has a good chance to pull an upset here. They're fast, very athletic and have good skills but then, so is Argentina. Should be a very good game. Let's hope the ref doesn't take one of the teams out of the game like they did in the US Nigeria game.
