Tigres v Cruz Azul - pre & post game thread

They play tonight in Monterrey.

It will be on Galavision. Unfortunaetly, it will be on SDD..by an hour or so. But it doesnt matter...

IF you have Sky,its on channel 9. It will also be on delay.


Tigres is coming off a road win against Chiapas..

Cruz zul is coming off a loss to Tecos.

Cruz Azul also played in the Teresa Herrera Cup where it got runner up. Theybeat Atletico de Madrid and lost to Deportivo La Coruna in the 120th minute.


This is do or die for Cruz Azul. IF they lose this one... Trejo will be gone within the next couple weeks. Rumors are starting to come out about his departure. And I dont blame the the club for taking those measures... THe club has spent millions to acquire good players... and they are not getting results. But the irony of it is that Cruz Azul plays better on the road and especially international matches.

Maybe Trejo could be the next Mexican coach... letds just play all our games on the road ;)

I am sorry.... duud for some reason.... my palm pilot reminded me that the game was going to be today... when i wrote it down last week... I though the game was going to be on wednesdays.... most make up Saturday games are played on wednesdays...and Sunday games are on THursdays......

At least it use to be like that... i dont know.. because even last year a lot of the make up games were also played on THursdays...

He is not a very technical player, he's more of a workhorse. But if Paco gets a pass that's half a goal maybe he could.
Cruz Azul will win it 2-1.

Iam disapointed... With Cruz Azul they remined me of chivas in the America game... and USA in the mexico game.. They just defended with everyone!! .. bUT I understand that we had zepeda red carded and palencia out with a injury...

But overall good win.. because tigres was playing very good with there brazilians...


But it sucks that both of are attacking mids are red carded... CONSPERCY ..

Hoy cruz azul busca el milagro y tigres mantenerse en la punta. toda la semana ha sido de lucha para Ojitos Meza, mantener la paz y alta moral

sin embargo el capitan A. Hernandez, dice que los extrangeros no meten igual que los demas, no se sabe si hablaba de los argentinos o de choronta oo alex aguinaga............La division se nota y no ayuda al ambiente para este partido crucial de ojitos
