I think he's still good enough for the BL. But well, let's wait up...

Sure. I don't doubt he still could be. After all, it is a much slower game than the Premiership......

He's been very inactive for quite awhile. That's the only question.
This season he hasn't seen a lot of action but when he has he hasn't looked off. Some of his best performances for Liverpool have been in the last couple of seasons as he has aged.
I have no doubt that he can do well at Leverkusen. Heck, they could use some leadership. Plus, he is always good for a goal or two on set pieces.
WTF is wrong with them. Don't they have any pride?
They look as if they were one man down.

Why would you even ask, it's Loserkusen. They always do this.

Respect for Bayer Leverkusens tactical discipline and fighting spirit
especially at the end of the cup final.
All the best for the future (except matches when we face each other).

Haha well put! :D
They are the best 2nd place winners in the Bundesliga, though I don't think they hand out trophies for that.

I said this when Schalke signed him and when Gladbach signed him...
Levekusen is gonna regret this move.
I cant belive people still give this old #&§&$ a job...

Don't know Heynckes evry well. But His job is certainly more effective than Jurgen Klinsmann's.
Klins is a really nightmare for Bayern.

Actually, the only thing Heynckes did "well" at Bayern is that he wasn't Klinsmann. That's it.
I agree with everyone who says Leverkusen will regret this move.
Rudi Voeller would have done better taking over himself again.......

Hi,
I haven't read all this post, so apologies if you already talked about this subject before: How was Henrique's performance during the season? He could finally join Barça this summer and I'm wondering if he's a reliable defender who could play along, Piqué, Puyol, Marquez and co.

I think Henrique could play at Barcelona, but if he's just going to go back to FCB and sit on the bench, I think FCB would do better for themselves and Henrique to loan him back to Leverkusen for another season.

Well, I don't think he would be a starter, but I didn't think that of Piqué either and see what happened...
Anyway, the season will be long, Barça will play many games, and we need good players on the bench too. If you say he can do it, I'm happy.
