We haven't even started yet, and there are at least 10 players out with injuries!
Tomkins and Collison...medial knee ligaments
Bellamy and Ferdinand...Hamstrings
Gabbidon...abdomen
Spector...hip operation
McCartney...virus
Dyer ...broken leg
Collins and Quashie...still out till September
This all came from today's official WHU site. No wonder AC says he's still looking for possible additions to the squad. He thought he wouldn't have to do much in the transfer market, but this doesn't auger well for the early games.
