Anyone know how to stop these? Or protect them?

The balls of my feet seem to always rub no matter what boots I wear....

Any ideas?

Vaseline usually works just rub some on the area prior to putting socks on before playing usually works, I have had blisters like you all the time arrrrgggghhhhh!!!!! but i used vaseline once and it was one of the few time when i have not got blisters playing football.

You have to cut down on the friction some way. First, make sure your boots fit you properly and that the laces are tightly tied, especially at the bottom of the laces. If you have the wrong shoes, you will keep getting this problem.

Another thing that can help is to wear two pairs of socks. Get some super-thin runner's socks. Get ones that do not have any cotton, which produces lots of friction when wet. I always do this, and it helps a lot.

If you can, let your blisters heal before playing again.

I do usually wear 2 pairs of socks and do my boots up tightly, but when I begin to get these blisters, they become really painful.

the suggestions of two socks and vaseline are probably what you are going to hear the most. keep doing it until your feet get used to your cleats, or get new cleats. i've worn two pairs of socks my entire life and i usually wear vaseline when breaking in new cleats for about a month or so. i'm usually ok after that. also, i'm not sure what surface you are playing on, but the type of cleat you are wearing on the surface might also play a factor

Basically, to prevent. Use vaseline to stop rubbing. All it is is friction, heating up your feet, making them sweat more, and even more friction on your soggy skin which eventuallly peels off.

I use blister socks. They're a double layer sock, a very thin non-cotton tight layer to hold your foot, and then a thicker outer layer to allow movement. So there is friciton, but its not on your feet, its on the sock.

And to treat, soak your feet in warm salt water. It drys up the skin, toughens it up for callouses, and heals over faster.
