And so the Paul Ince era officially begins with a trip to Goodison Park. Goodison can definitely be a tough place to pick up points, so I'd be ok with coming away with a draw from this one. Thankfully for those of us in the States, the game will be live on Fox Soccer Channel.

I'm guessing that we may be without Nelsen after his participation in the Olympics, so that doesn't necessarily help the cause.

Well. We're hurt without Morton and Roque. But I think Everton are worse off. Physio Room is saying they'll be missing Pienaar, Hibbert, Cahill and Van Der Myde.

Could be a decent chance for 3.

I knew Pedersen and Santa Cruz missed the Breda game with injuries, but I wasn't sure if they'd miss this one as well.

Incey played for Liverpool and ManUre. He'll not be welcome at Goodison, so neither will his side. It'll be a baptism of fire. If Cahill is playing, I fear for our chances. He is a really good, engine-like, player.

If we escape with a point, I'd be happy.

Says they're 'doubtful,' so I s'pose they could play.

Yeah I'll be more than happy with a point here. It's the great unkown at the moment, and first games of the season are always a bit odd. But Everton are still a good team, a lot of those players were injured for most of last season too, it's going to be a tough game. Be interesting to see what we get.

Talking to some Everton fans, they're not confident of getting much from the game either. Could go either way. If I had to put money on this one I'd go for a draw, but I haven't a clue, so I'm not putting any money on it ;)

Emerton may be the only injury doubt tomorrow. (http://www.rovers.premiumtv.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10303~1366886,00.html)

The Rovers lineup is not out yet.

I expect something like the Following:

Roque McCarthy

MGP Tugay Reid Emerton

Warnock Nelson Samba Simpson

Robinson

Excitment abounds.

Best thing about this game is EVerton no longer have AJ. He just tore us up last season. I have no idea what they will have w/o him. The will also not have :
Pienaar
Van Der Meyde
Hibbert
Cahill

Let's get this party started.....

It is Rovers time!!!

Anyone find it interesting the only new signed starter is Robinson.

I mean if we had Brad in the Goal this could be last year.

I'd say we've looked pretty sharp so far.

3 great chances so far MGP first then 2 headers by Roque.

All in all we look strong and powerful and Everton should fear our massiveness!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rovers looking solid at the start. The way Santa Cruz is heading the ball, he's got to put one through eventually.

Did I just see someone knock over Samba.

I did not think that would even be possible.

That Tim Howard is a great GK.

Another stop on great chance by DUnny.
