San Martín (Tucumán) 2- Huracán 0
Gimnasia y Esgrima(LP) 0- Newell's Old Boys 1
Arsenal 3- Argentinos Jr 0
R.Central 3- Estudiantes (LP) 2
Banfield 1- Godoy Cruz 2
Velez 0- Independiente 0
Colón 1 - River Plate 1
Boca Juniors 4 - Gimnasia (J) 0

Both new crowned first division teams San Martin and Godoy Cruz (couple of blocks from my house :D) won their respective games. San Martin at home and Godoy Cruz (El Tomba) away.

Rosario Central 3 - Estudiantes 2. This was an intense match on both sides. Boselli (former Boca striker) scored two for Estudiantes but that wasn't enough for Veron's side to get a win.

River Plate the 2008 Clausura champ tied away at COLON surprisingly. Maybe better luck next game.

Velez Sarsfield and Independiente tied up their encounter in what was an open and offensive game. Personally and this is an opinion shared by a few, that these are the two teams to beat in this tournament. Independiente because of the personality and conviction of their coach and Velez because of the players it has brought in to fight for the title. As I like to put it Velez is not armed to the teeth. lol

Boca 4 -Gimansia (J) 1. What can be said of this Boca team. They strip their side of some impressive veterans and along come the youth academy kids bang slap Gimansia around in the second half (4 goals). Gotta love this teams heart. Palermo played for Riquelme, who is away at the Olympics. lol

Feel free to add any comments or video relating to this weeks tourney.
